MULTIPLE ACTIVITIES OF VITAMIN D

Abstract

In recent years, the assessment of vitamin D, traditionally viewed as a factor in preventing of rickets and osteoporosis, has significantly changed. Currently, an increasing number of studies point to the participation of vitamin D in the proper functioning of the cardiovascular system and in the prevention of cancer and diabetes, as well as to its potential application in the treatment of psoriasis.
